Success is not final, failure is not fatal - it is the courage to continue that counts.

Long time no see...

I can't believe it's been about a month since I last posted...
Everything and everyone is well here, life's just busy and I don't seem to have the time (or will) to post a lot right now.
Today Greg and I went to check out Bankhead - Caney Creek Falls. It was a nice ride there and we got pretty lucky with the weather. It was a tad chilly and we got sprinkled on a few times, but other than that, it was a nice ride.
The area is beautiful and there's lots to see. Definitely worth more than one trip!

Checking out the damage to my leg after busting my rear. Hiking in heavy motorcycle boots is probably not the very best thing to do...

  3. What pretty falls. Sounds like a great "Date Day".
You're mentioning wearing the wrong footware for the hike made me chuckle---as we came home from our trip to Nebraska , we checked out a couple of waterfalls in the Upper Peninsula. I was wearing loafers. The snow was still deep. Need I say more? LOL!
Ah well, it's all part of the adventure.
    Have a terrific week
