Success is not final, failure is not fatal - it is the courage to continue that counts.

Tybee Island, Georgia

Last Thursday right after work, a great bunch of friends and I drove to Tybee Island to put another 1/2 marathon under our belt. Our goal is to have one in every state and this marks state #4.
We did realize we'll have to do more than one per year if we ever plan on making all of them... ;-)

Had to take a picture without my shoes so you get a good look at my "chicken legs". :-)
After the race it was time for food and fun!
Tybee Island is absolutely beautiful and I really want to go back this summer.

We did not have time to visit the lighthouse - another reason to go back!
On the way home, we made a quick stop in Savannah. Oh my, I think I'm in love... I DEFINITELY want to go back there and have more than just an hour to look around.

It was a great trip with great people and I enjoyed every minute of it!

    1. I didn't start until I was in my early 40's. Prior to that I would have told people the same thing. :-) Started walking, then walking faster and eventually it turned into a walking/running combo.
