Being able to eat vine ripe tomatoes is one of the few joys of summer! Enjoy them and a great weekend.
Aren't they just the best. I say you make a BLT, then some salsa, then roast some. YUM!
Is that a Brandywine? Cuz if it is, I might "burgle" your garden!!!
Yes that's a Brandywine. If you lived closer, I'd willingly share with you. Wouldn't even have to burgle my garden. ;-)
Good golly miss Molly, have you the collection of tomatoes!!! We do not have a single one. Have fun canning!!
WOW! You do have a lot of tomatoes coming on right now! I'm not sure how things are going to go for us. There are plenty of tomatoes, but they aren't turning very well. Carroll finally was able to pick his first ripe one and then when I cut into it I found it was rotten all the way through. :( Enjoy your canning! hugs
Oh no, I do hope it'll get better and you'll get to harvest a whole bunch. After all the work Carroll put into building the new beds it would be so sad not got get a good harvest. I've had to pick a bunch "semi ripe" since we go from hot to cooler and then lots of rain. Tried to pick them before they all split...
