A service dog for Everett

Yesterday Greg and I joined about 80 bikes to help raise funds for a little boy named Everett. Everett is the grandson of a friend of ours and was born with spina bifida, hydrocephalus, Arnold-Chiari brain malfunction and a sensory processing disorder. The proceeds of this poker run will help Everett get the service dog he needs. Hopefully we were able to raise lots of money for this sweet little guy!

The guest of honor. He was at the last stop of the ride for a little while and everybody enjoyed meeting him.

  1. What a wonderful thing to do. I really hope you raised enough for his dog!

  2. What a wonderful cause and I hope Everett gets his dog soon.
Oh, and you my dear are stunningly beautiful!

  3. Anke, I am always blessed by how many times the bike rides you and Greg do are to benefit someone with a great need. I surely hope that Everett gets his dog...and soon. May the Lord bless his parents as they care for him.

  4. I love how the community came together to help that little boy and you were a part of it. Just shows that there are so many good things happening in our world!!

  5. What a wonderful thing to do! I can only imagine how much a service dog will impact Everetts life.
You look great too….love your braids!

  6. What a great reason to take a bike ride! Looks like fun!
