Yarn along

I am making pretty good progress on my sleeveless vest, even though it doesn't really show very well in this photo. There are already over 600 stitches on my needles and that makes it a bit difficult to get a good picture. By the time I will be ready to cast off, there should be over 1400 stitches!
Still reading "The year of fog", it's just been really busy around here which doesn't leave that much reading time.
Joining Ginny for the weekly yarn along. Thank you so much for hosting!

  6. I once was told to place stitch markers every so many stitches to help with the counting when my stitch numbers get so high. How are you keeping track of so very, very many?
    Happy knitting,

    1. Lisa, the pattern is divided into 6 sections and they are each marked with a stitch marker. Every other row I increase to the left and right of the stitch marker. I just counted one section and multiplied, otherwise it would be very hard to keep track. :-)
