Red sky in the morning...

Got up this morning to go walking with friends and this is what greeted me. Absolutely glorious!! Now the saying goes "Red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky in the morning, sailor heed warning" - which was fitting. We were about 4 miles into our walk when it started sleeting, snowing, raining and the temperature was right around freezing. Good thing we really enjoy doing this - we still had fun together and managed to go for 10 miles anyway. :-)
Red sky in the morning, sailor heed warning."

  2. That red sky is so pretty! You sound like the postman's motto on your walk! "Neither sleet, nor snow.... shall deter me from my appointed rounds" :) xx
