The difference a couple of days makes...

A few days ago the trees in the wooded area behind our house looked like this:

Now, this is what they look like after a few very windy and chilly days.

Of course the leaves didn't wind up in the woods, they wound up in our yard. Any guesses as to what we'll be doing this weekend?

  1. I know they are work for you but look how pretty the yard is, all those colors against a still green yard, how pretty!

  2. I say mow them and mulch them. Raking is such hard work. :-) Our leaves have mostly hit the ground here too over the past few days with all of the wind from the Hurricane. Autumn is my favorite season so I'm always sorry to see the gorgeous leaves go.
