Oklahoma

It's been quiet around here these last few days because we went up to Oklahoma to spend some time with family. It was really good to visit with everybody and we all enjoyed our visit very much.
On our second night there we were lucky enough to see this gorgeous sunset.
Nadia and grandpa. :-)
Nadia und ihr grandpa. :-)
Hannah getting to ride grandpa's toy. The girls had a blast on the four wheeler, thank you Charles for letting them ride it. They loved it!!
Hannah durfte grandpa's "Spielzeug" fahren.
In the beginning we weren't sure Nadia could ride by herself so she rode either with grandpa or Hannah.
Can you tell she's having a blast? ;-)
Sieht man, dass es ihr Spass macht? ;-)
Greg took it for a spin, too.
Greg ist auch ein paar Runden gefahren.
On our last day in OK we went to OK City to check out "Frontier City" , an amusement park. I have to say the timing was bad. It rained off and on (a major downpour in the morning) and the temps dropped to 70 for most of the day. Since we had already bought the tickets online, we went anyway and made the best of it.
Here we look like drowned rats after being rained on and getting on some water rides.
Nadia got really soaked, but had a ton of fun. Our daredevil got on all the roller-coasters and enjoyed everything despite the cool, wet weather.
Thank you Lois and Charles for everything!! We loved visiting with you and hope we get to see you again soon. :-)

    1. Yes Suz, they would love their own four wheeler. All we would need to do is either buy a large piece of property or move in order for them to have one. ;-)

  3. what a fantastic sunset! I was with you when you took the picture and I didnt see it that way, isn't it funny how we take things for granted when we see it all the time? we loved having you guys here and yes, it was to short a visit, Nadia looks like she really enjoyed the water ride at the park, although very wet she was happy.

    1. Lois, Nadia would have stayed all day if we would have let her. She had so much fun, the whole "rainy, wet and cold thing" didn't seem to bother her at all.
