Yarn along

Since my sister will be here tomorrow (I'm so excited!!!), I decided to get started on another pair or socks for her. I've already made one pair and I thought she might like a second one. Winters in Germany are long and cold you know...
I am almost done with "A Breath Of Snow And Ashes" by Diana Gabaldon and I'm a little sad about it. Even though the books aren't the easiest reads and are quite long, I enjoyed the story very much.
The "Stitch 'N bitch" book was a 25 cent find at our library the other day! Just couldn't pass it up for a quarter.
Now go have a look what everybody else is knitting, crocheting and reading over at Ginny's.
Ich bin mit dem letzten Diana Gabaldon Buch " A Breath Of Snow And Ashes" nun fast fertig.
I finished the vest the other day. It is definitely too warm to wear right now (upper 90's) but will be nice in the colder month.

  2. The Stitch N' Bitch book is a keeper. That's how I learned how to do cables. Some cute patterns, too.

  4. I love the burnt orange of that vest. Although I'm not quite sure I would look good in it. What do you think? Mark
